She served as Executive Director of Hill & Knowlton Captiva. Between 2004 and 2008 she was a Member of the ICARE Marketing Circle and in 2005 she was Head of Campaign for the presidential candidate Joaquín Lavín. Between 2007 and 2009 she chaired the political movement Independientes en Red. She was director of the APEC department of the Economic Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs between 1994 and 1996 and advisor to the Minister of Finance between 1992 and 1994. University professor and legal advisor. Former Executive Director of the Jaime Guzmán Foundation and served as Under-Secretary of Regional and Administrative Development during 2010-2014. In 2015 he joined Azerta as Director of Public Affairs.
Felipe Edwards Partner
Journalist from Universidad Gabriela Mistral.
An expert in corporate communications, finance and crisis management, he is a founding partner of Azerta. He has advised important Chilean and international companies. He worked as a journalist and deputy editor in Economics and Business at El Mercurio, was communications manager at IBM, general manager of the company Vivefutbol and, for six years, general manager of Hill & Knowlton Captiva.
Daniela Lipari Partner
Journalist from Universidad Diego Portales.
She began her career as a reporter in Hoy Magazine, but her career has developed fundamentally in the area of strategic communications. She has more than 20 years of experience in corporate, legal and crisis management communications. She was an Account Manager and General Manager at Hill & Knowlton Captiva. In 2009 she joined Azerta as a Partner.
Luis Galleguillos Partner
Journalist and Master in Strategic Communication from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain.
He worked as a journalist at Radio Cooperativa and then joined Hill & Knowlton Captiva as an Account Manager. In 2007 he founded his own communications agency and then worked as Head of Communications for the Port of San Antonio. He is a professor of strategic communications at Universidad del Desarrollo. And he joined Azerta in 2010.
Begoña Bofill Partner
Journalist from Universidad Católica de Chile.
She worked in the newspaper Estrategia and then in Economics and Business at the newspaper El Mercurio. She was a communications advisor to the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance. She has been part of the Azerta team since 2008 as Partner Director.

After working at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he joined the Azerta team in 2014.
Lisette Garrido Partner
Journalist from the Diego Portales University.
She worked as an executive at Hill & Knowlton Captiva and in 2008 she joined the Azerta team as Coordinator, becoming manager of Human Resources and Operations. She is currently a Partner, while also working as General Coordinator and Director of the Strategic Communication area.
José Miguel Arancibia Partner - Digital
Graduate in Social Communications, Journalist and Certified in Audiences and Digital Content Management from Universidad Diego Portales.
José Miguel has an extensive record in Social Media data studies and analysis. He was Head of Content and Corporate Reputation in Socialmente for 4 years, time during which he advised several multinational companies in the mining, energy, and retail sectors, among others. He became part of the Azerta team on January 2019, later joining as Partner in April 2023.
Martin Bernal Senior Director of Digital Media

He began his career as a Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist at advertising agencies such as Wikot and Red Nölck América. In July 2018, he joined Azerta as a digital communications analyst for clients across various industries, later serving as Digital Planner. In 2023, he was appointed Director of Digital Media at Azerta.
Carlos Vallejos Senior Director
Journalist, Finis Terrae University Master’s in Strategic Communications, University of Los Andes
After working at El Mercurio newspaper and Qué Pasa magazine, he served as Deputy Communications Manager at CCU and later joined the communications team at Icafal Ingeniería y Construcción. In 2016, Mr. Vallejos became part of Azerta, where currently serves as Senior Director of Strategic Communications.
Alejandro Sáez Senior Director
Journalist, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile
He worked for 15 years in the Economy and Business section of El Mercurio. In 2008, he received the BancoEstado Award for Journalistic Quality, and in 2011, the Award from the Association of Economics and Finance Journalists. In 2013, he joined Azerta and currently serves as Director of the Strategic Communications and Research area.

He served as Press Chief for the Municipality of La Florida and as Press Director for the Municipality of Santiago. He has advised various companies across industries such as mining, energy, transportation, real estate, and maritime-port services, among others. In 2013, he joined Azerta and currently serves as Director of the Strategic Communications area.
Paula Mackenzie Kiessler Senior Director
Journalist, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile
She began her professional career as a reporter at Diario Financiero and later at La Tercera. However, her career has primarily developed as a consultant in the field of strategic communications. She has over 20 years of industry experience, during which she has led advisory services for multiple national and international companies and institutions. In January 2025, she joined the Communications area at Azerta.
Robert Currie Director of Environmental Strategy
Expert Lawyer in Environmental Regulation and Public Policy. Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia University.
He has worked across public, private, and intergovernmental sectors in the United States, Germany, and Chile. Vast experience in strategic consulting, Environmental Impact Assessment, legislative processes, and stakeholder engagement.
Former Head of the Legislative and Regulatory Department at the Ministry of the Environment, where he led the institution’s environmental team and oversaw regulatory matters nationwide, including the drafting of the Framework Law on Climate Change and the implementation of various legislative bodies.
Co-Chair of the Circular Economy Committee at AmCham. He is also a postgraduate professor at Universidad del Desarrollo and Universidad Andrés Bello, with numerous publications on regulatory and environmental issues.

Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications and Social Responsibility from Universidad Andrés Bello. In December 2009 she began her career working in Mega’s press department. Since 2014 she has been part of the Azerta team.
Fernando Gómez Director
Journalist from Universidad Católica de Chile. Master of Science in Corporate Communications from University of Amsterdam.
He began his career at CNN en Español in the United States and then worked as an Executive at Azerta advising different companies and industry associations. He later served as Communications Manager for Latin America for the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) of Universidad Católica and in 2017 returned to Azerta as Account Manager.
Camilo Feres Director
Gradutate in Social Communications at UARCIS, and Master (c) in Social Science at Universidad de Chile.
Mr. Feres has more than 15 years of proven experience as corporate consultant in Public Affairs, Communications and Strategy. He is also a part time teaching fellow in several under and post gradutates programs, and a as political analyst is a recurring guest in different mass-media programs. Mr. Feres joined Azerta in 2017 as Director of the Social and Political Studies department.
Claudio Lizama Manager
A journalist with a Masters in Communication.
Claudio has had an outstanding career in strategic communication, crisis management and corporate reputation.
He served as Chief of Staff of the Executive and Public Relations Directorate of UCV-TV for five years and as a teacher in the area of Advertising and Public Relations.
He joined the Azerta team in March 2020, during which time he has advised different companies in shipping, telecommunications and retail industries.
Pablo Bravo Manager
Journalist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile with a Masters degree in Audiovisual Communication and Advertising from the Universidad Autónoma of Barcelona.
While living in Spain, Pablo advised various companies, then worked for Channel 13 and the Ministry of Mining.
Pablo has had a long and outstanding career in journalism in the area of economics, specifically in the mining, energy and aquaculture sectors. Before joining Azerta, he held the position of General Editor at Editec Media.
María José Peña Manager
Journalist from the Andrés Bello University.
María José has more than 10 years of experience in strategic communication in public and private institutions, including Corfo, the Ministry of Economy, Sernatur and ECLAC, among others.
María José also worked as a journalist for the Municipality of Quilicura and as a consultant for different companies in the areas of retail, real estate, fishing and energy.
She has been part of the Azerta team since June 2021.

She worked at daily El Mercurio in 2018 in the Life, Science and Technology section. In July 2019, she joined the Azerta team.

In 2016 she joined the press department of Canal 13 and since September 2017 she has been part of the Azerta team.
Macarena Scheuch Manager
Journalist and International Studies diploma recipient from Universidad de Chile.
Macarena began her professional career at the University’s radio station, where for six years she worked as a reporter, producer, and evening editor.
She then spent seven years as a communications consultant advising companies involved in mining, energy, retail, and higher education, among others.
Macarena joined the Azerta team in March of 2021.
Jaime Gallo Manager
Journalist from Universidad Diego Portales.
He began his career working in the newspaper La Tercera. Subsequently, he was in charge of communications for the NGO United Way Chile. He joined Azerta in 2012.
Benjamin Sierralta Executive
Journalist from Universidad Diego Portales.
He started his career in Chócale.cl and continued to specialize in the finance sector, receiving a diploma in Financial Journalism from Pontificia Universidad Católica in 2022, as well as being part of the program «Financial Inclusivity for Journalists» from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
He joined the Azerta team in the beginning of 2023.
Martina Casas Executive
Journalist and diploma recipient in International Relations from Universidad de los Andes.
In 2020 she worked as a journalist in media outlets Startups Latam, and Pauta. From 2021 on, she specialized in external communications, working with international organisms and foundations, taking advantage of her English proficiency. She became part of the Azerta team in 2023.
Beatriz Vial Executive
Journalist from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez with a minor in Strategic Communications Design.
She started her career in Revista ED as part of the content creation and writing team, later joining the Azerta team in September 2023 as an account executive.
Dusanka Obilinovic Executive
Journalism degree from the Universidad de Las Américas. Dusanka has spent a large part of her professional career working in media, including for the Las Últimas Noticias and La Tercera newspapers.
In 2021, she began advising companies on corporate communications matters and later joined the Azerta team as a communications executive.
Ignacio Cembrano Executive
Journalism degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile
Ignacio began his career at the Grupo Editorial Editec, writing technical content for the Revista Minería Chilena, Revista Electricidad, Revista Aqua and the Electromov website. He subsequently worked as a journalist on the Reporte Minero y Energético program broadcast by Canal 24h while also running the Visual Producciones production company.
He joined Azerta in April 2021, where he works with clients in the mining, energy and telecommunications sectors.
Anita Guzmán Executive
A journalist from Andrés Bello University, Guzman worked at Diario Estrategia and in 2013 joined the business side of LitoralPress. In 2017, she was hired by Azerta as a Media Analyst and later promoted to Account Executive.

A journalist from the Alberto Hurtado University, Llanos began working at La Segunda newspaper before joining the Azerta team in 2019.
Pablo Valenzuela Public Affairs Consultant
Attorney, with a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law from the University of Nottingham in the UK, specializing in applied social investigation, design and direction of organizations, strategies, and projects for social impact, innovation, and multi-sector coordination.
Lily Muñoz Public Affairs Senior Consultant
With over 15 years of experience in the public sector, she has worked as a consultant in several municipal offices. Between the years 2010 and 2012, she worked as a Consultant in the Regional Development Division in SUBDERE. Between 2012 and 2014, she was Head Advisor at the Subsecretary of Housing and Urban Planning. Before joining the Azerta team, she worked as Head of Cabinet in SERCOTEC, at the Ministry of Economy.
Cristóbal Ojeda Content Manager
Journalist from the Universidad de Santiago and Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Strategic Communication from the Universidad Diego Portales.
Previously Cristóbal worked in the Digital Content area of Channel 13, in the marketing and communications area of Travel Club/Banco de Chile and Consorcio, and before joining Azerta he worked as Brand Manager of Caja Los Andes. He has experience in management and supervision of communications in different formats, brand positioning, generation of marketing strategies and management of social networks.
Javiera Soto Public Affairs Consultant
An attorney at law from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, Javiera began her career at the law firm of Espina, Zepeda & Acosta.
During the two years she lived in London and The Hague, she interned at the International Criminal Court and represented Chile at the Hague Conference on Private International Law.
In March 2018, she joined the Ministry of National Defense team as an advisor, and in June 2021 she joined the Azerta team.

Journalist from Universidad Católica del Norte.
He has experience as a reporter in the press and as a communications consultant carrying out legislative follow-up to various bills.
Juan Andrés Abarca Public Affairs Senior Consultant
Political Scientist and Bachelor in History from Universidad Católica de Chile.
Prior to joining Azerta, he spent eight years at Business News Americas covering the financial services, infrastructure and mining sectors. Collaborator with The Economist Intelligence Unit. He joined the Azerta Public Affairs team in 2018.
Hernán Valenzuela Public Affairs Consultant
A lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, he began his career at the Jaime Guzmán Foundation to work in the legislative area. Later, he worked in the Legal section of the Immigration and Migration Department of the Ministry of the Interior and Public Security. Since 2020 he has been a Public Affairs Consultant at Azerta.

He worked in Litoralpress as Supervisor and Team Coordinator. Since June 2011 he has been working at Azerta as a Press and Documentation Analyst.

A journalist from Santo Tomás University, Sandra has worked as a media analyst at Grupo Time and at the Communications Department of the Ministry General Secretariat of the Presidency. In May 2019, she joined Azerta’s Media team to perform media analysis functions.
Marcia Núñez Media and Archives Analyst
A journalist from the University of Playa Ancha, she spent a decade working as a media analyst at Audionoticias, Nexnews and Litoralpress. She was then executive producer and screenwriter on children’s animation projects at Productora Houston. In 2019 she joined the Azerta team as a media analyst.
Marco Nicolini Digital Strategy Manager
Communications degree, and Master’s in Strategic Communication, Marketing and Business from the Universidad del Desarrollo.
Marco is a specialist in digital analytics and Data Driven Marketing. During his career he has served as director of strategy for the design of omnichannel marketing and communication solutions for a variety of companies.
As a university academic with over 25 communication and business school courses taught, Marco has had the opportunity to deliver more than 70 talks at strategy seminars both in Chile and abroad.

He started his career in 1989 and in 2007 he joined Novo Nordisk Farmacéutica Limitada as an accountant. In January 2013 he joined the Azerta team.
